With the global economic crisis threatening to undermine existing public investments and marginalize global health issues, now more than ever it is essential that our voices be heard. Against this most recent backdrop of inexplicable apathy and lethargy toward combating the global AIDS epidemic, as well as tuberculosis, ACTION is doing its part to reignite efforts to tackle the TB-HIV co-epidemic.
The ultimate goal of MOSOTOS is to juxtapose all the talk within the global health sector with the massive lack of recent action. ACTION hopes to make MOSOTOS (an acronym for More of the Same Old Talks, Opinions, and Speeches), the new catch phrase and mantra for all those in the global health community who are tired of the same talk and want to see more ACTION.
