Partnership Letter to World Bank Leadership: IDA20 Recommendations

Ahead of the IDA20 replenishment, ACTION partners are calling on World Bank leadership to increase financing within the Human Capital theme, specifically for primary health care (PHC), immunization, nutrition, and early childhood development (ECD). The partnership drafted a letter to World Bank leadership advocating for the following recommendations in the IDA20 framework and agreement documents: Policy commitments that prioritize human capital through strengthening PHC, immunization, nutrition, ECD, and social protection; Increase the scale and flexibility of IDA resources through various channels, including a CSO window to advance accountability; and improved tracking and measurements of IDA resources and commitments in the IDA Results Management System.
