In the lead up to President Obama making the historic commitment on World AIDS Day 2012 to reach an additional 2 million people with AIDS treatment, ACTION participated as a member of the civil society coalition which made the case for taking on this goal.
ACTION voiced unequivocal support for this goal to key members of the Administration, and it collaborated with other members of the coalition to bring more voices to bear, such as from faith based organizations.
