Over the last decade, 10 ACTION country partners on five continents have developed a highly effective global advocacy platform to build political will and ensure increased donor and domestic commitments to address diseases of poverty.
In the past five years alone, ACTION partners have helped mobilize significant new resources for TB and childhood vaccines including: $1.1 billion in new resources for TB control from donor countries, $1.4 billion overall for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, $2 billion for the GAVI Alliance and millions in new resources for TB in Kenya and India.
ACTION partners continue to influence national and global policy to improve equitable access to TB treatment and immunizations, and accelerate the uptake of innovative tools and new vaccines for rotavirus and pneumonia.
But our work is not done. Further progress will require equity- and impact-focused policies and aggressive resource mobilization efforts at all levels to close vital funding gaps in TB control and immunization programs, and improve policies at the global, regional and country-level.
We hope you'll join us by taking ACTION today.
