NOVEMBER 15, 2012 - ACTION partners around the world are elated at the appointment of Ambassador Mark Dybul as the new Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Ambassador Dybul is uniquely qualified to drive the next important phase of Global Fund work focused on ending all three diseases.

For many years Ambassador Dybul has been a leader in global health. While leading the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), Ambassador Dybul was a champion of ambitious vision and pragmatic, systematic implementation. With the support of ACTION partners and other allies around the world, Ambassador Dybul is certain to lead the Global Fund through another decade of historic impact on all three diseases. ACTION looks forward to working with him and supporting the work of the Global Fund at every level.
