Danielle Doughman
Danielle Doughman is the ACTION Deputy Director. Prior to joining RESULTS, she was the program Manager for Global Health R&D Advocacy at Research!America, an alliance to make research for health a higher national priority. Previously, Danielle was a fellow in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Healthcare Quality, where she worked on the National Initiative for the Elimination of Healthcare-Associated Infections. Danielle completed field work with the Pan American Health Organization in Guatemala and later with Primeros Pasos clinic, also in Guatemala. Before returning to graduate school to pursue global health, she worked for a decade in disability policy and advocacy at the state and federal levels and as a social worker with the homeless in metropolitan Atlanta. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Gillings School of Global Public Health. She earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University. ddoughman@results.org
