Angela Pereira
An American/Canadian citizen fluent in English and French, Angela joined ACTION as a Senior Communications Associate in October 2012. She previously worked in Malawi for two years, where she built the communications capacities of local health organizations and trained journalists in human rights reporting. Angela also worked as an assistant writer and media officer for the International Development Research Centre based in Ottawa, Canada. Angela holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Political Science from Canada's Carleton University and an MA of International Communications from the University of Leeds, UK.
