Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance Accountability Tool
ACTION’s “Following the Funding: Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance” scorecard tracks the commitments made by eight of the largest donor countries, accounting for more than half of Gavi’s funding. The scorecard details the ambition of pledges to expand access to childhood vaccines and will continue to track pledge delivery over the five-year funding cycle. *U.S. commitments to Gavi are measured differently because their disbursement periods do not align with those of other donors.
 Refers to all donor commitments to Gavi, incl. IFFIm and AMC, made between May 2014 and the pledging conference in January 2015.
 Compares a donor’s total 2011-2015 commitments to its 2016-2020 commitments.
 Refers to the time period for which Gavi funds were committed and whether they were determined for an annual or multi-annual basis.
 Determined based on whether funding was received, or is committed through legally-binding agreements
